Good Conversion Practices for PMI Smoke-Free Products

PMI offers a variety of high-quality, science-backed smoke-free products that are a much better choice than continuing to smoke. Our vision is that our smoke-free products will one day replace cigarettes.

  • Cigarette smoking causes serious illness and addiction. Without a doubt, the best decision any smoker can make is to quit tobacco and nicotine use altogether.

  • Minors should not use tobacco or nicotine in any form.

  • PMI smoke-free products are intended for adults, i.e. adults who would otherwise continue to smoke or use other nicotine products.

  • We do not offer smoke-free PMI products to people who have never used tobacco or nicotine products or who have quit using tobacco and nicotine. Smoke-free products are not an alternative for people who want to completely quit using nicotine products, nor are they intended as a smoking cessant.

  • PMI smoke-free products are not risk-free and contain nicotine, which is addictive. Switching to a smoke-free product, however, is a better choice than continuing to smoke.

  • We support adult users of smoke-free products on their path to full conversion through education.

  • In order for consumers to experience the benefits of smoke-free products, they must switch to them completely and quit smoking permanently.

  • We inform consumers of all relevant safety information about our smoke-free products.
